We just got done telling you about Disney's Vero Beach resort and our plans to give it a try and now we have even more reason to go...
Disney announced last week that their Vero Beach Resort, part of DVC, won the prestigious AAA Four Diamong Rating.
According to AAA and Disney, “A Four Diamond hotel is refined and stylish, providing upscale physical attributes, extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”
Congratulations to the entire team at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. We plan to visit you soon!

New mist screens will combine with innovative, state-of-the-art projection technology for brighter and more vibrant visuals than ever before, and the show will feature new scenes inspired by Disney animated classics such as “Aladdin” and “The Lion King.”
If they use these mist screens like they do in World of Color, we're all in for an amazing treat. We'll be back in Disneyland next Spring and will be sure to check this out.
Disney's 'Main Street Electrical Parade' celebrated it's 45th birthday this month and as my favorite parade (alongside Paint the Night), I couldn't miss the opportunity to wish it a happy birthday!
Walt Disney World has announced an all new nighttime show at Disney's Hollywood Studios entitled "Disney Movie Magic."
The show has already begun and features lasers and projections on The Great Movie Ride, which may-or-may-not-but-definitely-seems-to-be turning into this parks icon in many ways.
With this announcement, as well as the upcoming Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, I think I'm starting to get an idea for what Disney has in mind for the future of DHS (or whatever they call it).
My best guess? It seems to me like this park is going to go from being a "movie set" of sorts to full on immersion in the movies themselves. Only time will tell...
Anyway, here's the information you'll need to make 'Disney Movie Magic' a part of your next trip.
It's great to see Stan Lee in this short clip showcasing his sense of humor and imagination. Join Captain America at the Captain's Table this fall, only on Disney Cruise Line.

Starting next week, for the very first time the Disney Fantasy will premiere longer itineraries – new 10- and 11-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean, sailing from Port Canaveral to incredible destinations such as Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts and Tortola. Two of these special cruises take place this summer, and a third will set sail next summer.
Coming from someone whose been to Aruba (me!) and had an absolutely amazing time, I can tell you that these itineraries are some of the most desirable out there.
My family has a long history of visiting this incredible and friendly island and for good reason. I mean, their island motto is "One Happy Island" after all.
Make sure to check out these itineraries if you're looking to book a trip aboard Disney Cruise Lines.

For those of you visit the D23 Expo this year, make sure to check out the Star Wars Land pavilion. This is sure to get the blood flowing as we await what is sure to be an incredible addition to both coasts.
While we don't know for sure, my gut tells me we'll be learning a thing or two during the event about whats to come in these incredible lands.
